Roger was born in Minden, Ontario, to George Nesbitt and Kathleen Little.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deniese, and his children, Darren (Debbie) and Kelly (Jeff). Roger was a proud grandfather to Justin, Jordan, Brooke, and Brody, and a great-grandfather to Carter.
Roger was one of six siblings and was predeceased by his sisters Iris (Lamb) and Joyce (Walker), and his brothers Sinclair and Chesel Nesbitt. He is survived by his sister, Elaine Smith.
Roger had a long and distinguished career as a proud employee at General Motors in Oshawa, where he rose to the role of Superintendent. Outside of work, Roger enjoyed fishing, ATV riding, and, of course, cheering for his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.
In his younger years, Roger dedicated much of his time to coaching youth hockey. He was known for leading Storie Park to multiple championships, going undefeated in the league for several seasons.
Roger’s legacy of dedication and passion will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
