NIEFER, John Niefer

Passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2025 at the age of 55 after an almost three year battle with cancer. Loving husband of Rhonda and beloved father of Taylor (Tino). Beloved son of Bob Niefer and the late Betty Niefer and son-in-law of Marlene Ware and the late Bob Ware. Loving brother of Mary Ann (Rod) Ward. Beloved brother-in-law of Cindy Ware, Bob (Ashlee) Ware and Brad (Caitlin) Ware. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Loving dog Dad to Nova and Lucy. John was a devoted employee of Anchor Danly for over 30 years. Special thank you to the nurses from Saint Elizabeth’s Health especially Shelley and John for their excellent care and support during John’s battle, the doctors and staff at Windsor Regional Cancer Clinic, and Dr. Burgess and his staff from Hospice.
Visitation to Celebrate John’s Life will take place at Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell St, Leamington(519-326-2631) on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 5-8pm.
