COWAN, Nila – Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday morning, October 9, 2015 in her 84th year with her family by her side.

Beloved wife of the late Bert Cowan.

Loving mother of James (Lynda) of Colborne, Kendra (Bill Stamp) of Punta Gorda, Florida.

Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Heather (Dylan), Andrew (Katie), Valerie (Kyle), Alexander (Jen), Billie-Joanna (Alfredo), Danielle and by her great grandchildren Nathaniel, Marissa, Keira, Hudson, Sean, Benjamin, Emilie and Luciano.

Dear sister of Lynn (David Henderson) and Lee Henderson (Murray – predeceased). Predeceased by her son David, her daughter Valerie and by her sisters Dot and Marion. Also fondly remembered by daughter-in-law Sandy and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. 118, Haliburton, Ontario on Thursday morning, October 15, 2015 from 10 o’clock until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 o’clock. Interment.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Haliburton Hospital Auxiliary or the West Guilford Community Centre would be appreciated by the family.
