CAPPA, Nobile Cappa Obituary

CAPPA, Nobile – Passed away peacefully at Millennium Trail Manor, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday October 6, 2015 at the age of 94. 

Beloved husband of the late Maria Cappa (2010). 

Dearly loved father of  Mauro (Maria) Cappa, James (Suzanne) Cappa and Anna Wasielewski.  Cherished Nonno of Alessandro, Mauro Jr., Michael and Christina Cappa, Eric (Cheryl) and Stephen Wasielewski.

He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Maurina Carnevale. Predeceased by his nine brothers and sisters.  Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Nobile was born in Barile, Potenza, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1950.  Prior to his immigration, Nobile served in the Italian Infantry during World War II.  Upon arriving in Canada, he worked at the Carborundum Company, retiring after 33 years of service.

His passions included his beautiful garden, winemaking and most of all his love of his family.  Nobile also enjoyed his membership Combattenti e Reduci Niagara at Club Italia.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church.  The Rite of Entombment will follow.
