NOBLE, Barbara Mae Elizabeth Noble

It is with heartbreaking and unimaginable sadness that we share the sudden passing of our beautiful mother, Barb, on October 5, 2025. Barb passed away peacefully with her children at her side; Peter (Nicole), Adam (Kaitlynn) and Sarah (Michael).

Barb was the best mom there was. She was always there for her children and went out of her way to make us feel special. She was not only our mom but also our best friend, and overall just an unbelievably kind, caring, and loving human being who has left us far too soon.

Her greatest joy over the last seven years was being “Memaw” to her granddaughter, Hannah. Memaw forever lives on in the memories they made together. She is survived by Phillip, her former husband and close friend, and together they raised their cherished children. Anyone who knew Barb knew that her kids and grandchild were the light and love of her life, next to her two puppies, Izzy and Tess.

Barb is also survived by her siblings John (Shelley), Debbie (Winston), Glenn (Paula), Rick (Melissa), and Bill (Cathy). She will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family. She loved being a sister and would do anything for her siblings. She especially looked forward to the annual trips to Big Bear Lake or the Dominican Republic with her brothers. She was the glue that held everyone in the family together.

Barb is reunited in heaven with her mother, Lois (2009), and her father, Jack (2024). She shared a close relationship with her parents, especially with her mom while growing up, and a special bond with her dad towards the end of his life.

Barb has grown up and lived in Fort Erie/Crystal Beach for nearly 60 years. She loved living in a town where she seemed to create friendships in everything she did. Whether it was grabbing her morning shakes or picking up a prescription at the pharmacy, she left lasting impressions.

Barb had many close friends for whom she cared deeply. She was the kind of friend who always checked in to make sure you were all right. She was generous with her time and love for everyone. She was known to stop in with a Tim’s coffee and muffins, just to visit and share laughs. Her humour and personality will be missed by her South Coast family and friends.

She built many meaningful and lasting connections with her “regulars” through her years as one of the hardest-working and most dedicated servers you could ever meet. Barb loved being a server because she loved taking care of people and sharing stories.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of her friends and family for their love, kindness, and support throughout this journey. Barb and our family are deeply grateful to her nurses, especially Danielle, and to the PSWs who provided such compassionate care over the last month. A special thank you to Dr. Kim Scher and his team for their support and guidance during this difficult time.

We weren’t ready to lose you, but Heaven needed a warrior and chose ours.

Her family invites anyone who knew and loved her to join them for A Celebration of Barb’s Life, held on Saturday, November 1st, from 1-4 PM at the Crystal Ridge Community Centre, 99 Ridge Rd S, in Crystal Beach. Food, drinks, and countless stories will be shared. Benner Funeral Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
