NOTTINGHAM, John E.G. “Jack” Nottingham

March 24, 1940 - February 15, 2026

Passed away at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Sunday February 15, 2026 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband for over 65 years of Karel (nee Espie). Loved and admired by his children Lisa (late Jeff), Lyn, John (Sherry) and the late Tina. Dearly loved by his seven grandchildren Harmony (Connor), Krissie (Sam), Dylan (Lindsay), Bowen (Jess), Alayna, John (Sara) and Sierra and five great grandchildren Maverick, Colt, Xander, Olivia and Ivy.

Jack was the oldest of seven children of the late Doris and Roy Nottingham; Gary, Ken, Ralph, Nancy, late Paul and Robert. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He was also a talented woodworker making chairs, birdhouses etc. for family and friends.

Jack was a devoted Mason for over 60 years and was a P.D.D.G.M. He was also a member and Past Patron of the Order of The Eastern Star. His respect and love for everyone endeared him to your heart especially through his sharing of stories with family and friends. Spending his winters in La Penita, Mexico allowed him to expand his circle of friends. He was a true gentleman who will be dearly missed by us all.

Relatives and friend are invited to call at Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry on Sunday February 22, 2026 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Monday February 23, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. (Masonic service to precede). Interment Prince Albert Pine Grove Cemetery. A celebration will continue in the funeral home reception lounge.
