OGLE, Robert Douglas Ogle

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Douglas Ogle at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband for 54 years of Ellen Ogle (née Castle. Loving father of Leslie Ogle (Kelly) and Laurel Ogle (Luc). Cherished grandfather of Léah and Yasmine. Dear brother of Brian Ogle (late Wendy). He will be missed by his brother-in-law Ted Castle (Carol). and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by is parents Vernon and Marie Ogle (née Venn) and by brother Craig Ogle (late Eva). Bob proudly passed his exams and got his designation as a Chartered Account in 1974. He was an avid sports fan and played hockey all of his life, he was involved in other sports such as soccer, baseball, curling, and golfing. He was an active member of the Kinsmen Club of Cornwall for over 40 years and was also a Life Member of the Association.

As per Robert’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Best Western Parkway Inn, Cornwall, ON from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Speeches will be held at 2 p.m.
