OSBORNE, Lillian May Osborne

A resident of Chatham, Lillian Osborne passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance – Chatham Campus on February 2, 2026 at the age of 75.

Born in St. Thomas, Lillian was the daughter of the late Grover and Lillian (née Smith)Young.

Beloved wife of 29 years to the late Gordon.

Loving mother to Kit (Rob) Britton, Tammy (the late Allan) Gorman, Gord (Heather) Osborne, and Howard Osborne.

Grandmother to Chontel, Kenneth (Kayla), Bill, Rob (Jess), Cole, Morgan, the late Cloe, Cayden, Corbin, Houston, and Xander.

Great-grandmother to Telly (Jeremiah), Lilli, Jordyn, Jada, Tessa, Drayden, and William.

Great-great-grandmother to Birdie.

Sister to Joseph (Gloria) Young, the late Mary (the late John) Quick, the late Duncan Young, the late John Young, and the late Madeline “Peggy” (the late Leonard) Longmire.

She will be missed by extended family and friends.

Her family was the most important thing to her, she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Lillian could be found sitting outside watching the birds. She also played bingo at Riverview Gaming Centre.

A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 12:00 pm, with visiting from 10:00 am until the Service time. Cremation to follow. A Reception will follow the Service at the KBDC Club, 34 Byng Ave, Chatham.

Interment will be held at Morpeth Cemetery at a later date.

Donations made in memory of Lillian to the Chatham Christian Centre or to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
