A lifelong sports fan, Jim was an avid bowler, curler, softball player, and golfer and loved the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. He will be warmly remembered and greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

The family wishes to thank the Health Sciences North nursing staff on the 5th floor of the South Tower for their kindness and care of him. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Grace United Church in Minnow Lake, ON or the Canadian Cancer Society.
