PALIC, Anthony Palic

With deep and profound grief, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Antun Palic on June 10, 2025.

Cherished husband of 63 years to Nada, beloved father of sons Joseph, Brian (Nomce), and daughter Hilda (Michael), and their sons Philip (Natasha), Anthony (Jessica), Matko (Maddy), and much-loved great-grandfather to Antonia and Nadia.

Born January 1, 1934, in Rešetari, Croatia to Josip and Antonia Palic. Survived by Katica Palic and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Maria, Reza, Ljubica, Lojzo, Ivan, and Stijepan.

Anthony emigrated to Toronto in 1958 as a trained welder and built a successful 38-year career as a mechanic at American Motors/Chrysler. He met his beloved Nada at a dance in the Hrvatski Dom and they were married on July 29, 1961.

Anthony loved spending time in his vegetable garden, sharing stories at the table, and dancing at Croatian picnics and events. He and Nada frequently traveled to Croatia, cherishing time with loved ones.

His grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him endless joy. His infectious smile, twinkling eyes, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
