CONSTABLE, Pamela May ‘Pam’ – Cherished sister, aunt, great aunt, friend and life traveller passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2015 at her home on Spry Shores, Ontario.

In accord with her wishes Pam has been cremated.

Grieving the loss of Pam are her brother Barry Constable, sister in-law Monica Black, nieces Nicole and Katharine Constable, nephew Stephen Constable, nephew in-law Mark Kernaghan, great niece and nephew Madison Leach and Mitchell Kernaghan and her dearest friend Ellen Shields. Pam also leaves behind her much beloved Toller, Rainne.

Life is not about how many years you live, but the mark you leave on those you encounter. Pam was a dedicated, talented and generous teacher/librarian who helped students learn much more than the content of their textbooks at both Glenview Park H.S. and Jacob Hespeler H.S. in Waterloo County.

Pam took that passion into working for the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation, where she served several terms as Vice President. In this capacity she fought tirelessly and passionately, together with a wry sense of humor, for the rights of students and teachers both.

Pam will be fondly remembered for her love of nature which took her on a number of wonderful adventures throughout Canada and different parts of the world. Pam recently moved to the Bruce Peninsula, an area she loved for its beauty and serenity.

Please join Pam’s family at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton 680 Plains Rd W, Burlington, ON L7T 4H4 on Sunday, April 24th, 2016 at 2pm to celebrate Pam’s life and her many achievements.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Wildlife Federation or the Nature Conservancy of Canada would be appreciated.
