Parker – Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 5, 2025. John David “Percy” Parker, age 73 years of Corunna. Loving husband of the late Nicole “Nicky” Parker (2014). Much loved father of Carrie-Lynn Gavigan (Ryan) and Chris Parker (Robin Williams), all of Corunna.

Treasured grandfather of Corrigan, Lynkoln and Layghtyn. Percy will be fondly remembered by the Joseph family. He was predeceased by his grandson Reegan Gavigan, his sister Jane Parker, and his parents Percy and Helen Parker.

Percy enjoyed the time he spent with his nearby grandchildren, was a passionate fisherman, and an enthusiastic sports fan—especially of hockey. He retired from Shell in 2012 where he worked as a Stationery Engineer. Percy and Nicky loved travelling together in their motorhome, and he was a proud member of the Corunna Legion.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 5–7 p.m. for a formal visitation. A celebration of Percy’s life will follow on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 1–4 p.m. at the Corunna Legion, 350 Albert St., Corunna.
