PATTERSON, Susan Lynne Patterson

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Lynne Patterson at

Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 55, on Monday, December 29th, 2025. She passed peacefully in the early morning surrounded by her loving family and friends. Her kind heart and loving nature will continue to be an inspiration to us all.

Susie is survived by her father Bruce Patterson, her brother Ron, her niece Samantha, her best friend Nick as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who all loved her dearly. She is predeceased by her sister Sandi and her mother Shirley.

Susie will be remembered for her big heart and warm smile that never failed to light up a room. She was an avid animal lover and advocate and leaves behind two dogs of her own that she cherished deeply. She loved camping, hiking and the outdoors and could be found at her happiest when on an adventure. Susie loved fiercely and deeply, to be loved by her was a privilege that will never be forgotten.

We will all remember Susie with love and thankfulness to have been a part of her life for all these years. She will be missed by all, and we will forever carry her in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Lakeridge Health Oshawa hospital – critical care unit, who treated Susie with such care and compassion in her final moments.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Gaspé, Québec.
