She leaves behind her three children Shawn (Carrie) of Thunder Bay, Shannon (Chris) and Sherri (John) both of Windsor. She will be missed by her 9 + 1 grandchildren Myah, Lauren, Jack, Anna, Rowan, Luca, Mattia, Emerson and Giulia and most recently baby Arlo (Chris and Nicole). Loving sister of Murray (Patti), and Gene (Ruth). Reunited in heaven with her parents Anna (1991) and Mervin (2006), her eldest brother Murray (1941), ex-husband Michael Patterson (2022) and her cherished fur baby Buddy (2019). Patricia had a long and successful career as a nurse who was known in the community for her very compassionate style of care spending most of her nursing years looking after the elderly. She was blessed to have long standing friendships with her nursing sisters Ruth Balkwill, Marlene Fields, Marie Boyd, Nancy Shaffer and Carol Leclerc. Special lifetime friendship with Carolyn (Bill) Jackson of Cottam and Sharron and Rolf Sax of Windsor. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Lifetimes Retirement home for your exceptional kindness and attention you always extended to our mother, especially nurses Jody and Moses, PSW’s Kathy and Patricia, as well as Anasthasia, Kassandra and Tim. Our family wishes to express our sincere gratitude to all the staff at Windsor Regional – Ouellette Campus, especially Dr. Bradford and nurse David from ER, the 6th floor nurses Shilpa and Jocelyn and 7th floor nurses Cathy and Kathy for their kind hearts and wonderful care.
