GREGORY, Paul Tracy  –   A highly regarded teacher and churchman has completed his story amongst us.

After a difficult journey with Alzheimer’s, Paul Gregory died peacefully at Trillium Hospital on Friday, April 28, 2023, in his 89th year.

Beloved husband of Patricia for over 60 years; and loving father of Bruce (deceased, 1983) and Scott (deceased, 2014).

A very proud grandfather of Ian and Ada, he will be greatly missed by them and their mother, Sharon (Scott’s wife); by his sister-in-law, Ruth Gregory; his brother-in-law, Bob, and Nancy Alexander; and his cousins, nieces and nephews.

Paul was a teacher and guidance counsellor in the Oakville and Etobicoke school systems for 33 years, a gracious influence on the lives of untold numbers of young people even into retirement.

In some of his after years, he was active in the Retired Teachers of Ontario.

He was very much a genuine pillar of Kingsway Baptist Church in Etobicoke, a member and active leader for over 70 years. He will be missed.

The funeral service of thanksgiving will be held at Kingsway Baptist Church, 41 Birchview Blvd., on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.

Visitation will be welcomed during the hour before the service, and there will be a reception afterward.
