PAUL, Judith Carolyn Burns Jean Paul

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday December 13, 2025 at the age of 73. Judy was born on April 28, 1952, in Sarnia, Ontario, to John and Muriel Burns, both originally from Toronto. Her career in Child Care reflected her deep compassion, patience, and love for children, and she touched many lives through both her work and her kindness.   She is survived by her two sons, Anthony Jean-Paul (Shyla) and Adrian Jean-Paul, and was a proud Grandma to Raiden Jean-Paul, Kalia Jean-Paul, and Bodin Guernsey Jean-Paul, who brought her tremendous joy and pride. She shared a close and meaningful relationship of more than ten years with Geoff Sloan and is a cherished sister to John Burns (Michelle), David Burns (Valerie), and Wendy Burns. She will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends. With a sharp mind and a generous heart, she approached life with quiet insight and compassion, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. A Celebration of Life will be held to honour and remember her on Saturday December 20, 2025 from 2 – 4 pm. Cremation arrangements entrusted to McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558). Donations in memory of Judy to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
