McFARLANE, Paul Douglas  –  With great sadness we announce the passing of Paul on April 20, 2023, at the age of 80, following a brief illness.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marlene.

Paul had a distinguished career as Senior Vice President, Special Loans Risk Management, Head Office, for CIBC.

He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and business associates.

He was a man with a generous heart and spirit, for whom honesty and trustworthiness served as cornerstones of his character. He was predeceased by his parents, Dave and Myra McFarlane; brother; Dave; and sister-in-law, Margaret (Meg) Glazebroook.

Missed by: his sister-in-law, Nancy Furber, her late husband, Norm; brother-in-law, Andre Glazebrook; nephew, D. Glazebrook; and close friends, the Kochevar family.
