PENROSE, Stanley Clarence Penrose

We lost a living legend and a real decent human being. Stan Penrose (born October 2nd or perhaps the 1st) at the ripe old age of 70- kicked the bucket. In spite of a quick, clever mind, his body simply crapped out. No sickness. No pain. No suffering. No fuss. Went to sleep and never woke up.

Currently flying high with his parents, Lloyd and Valda, brother Robert, sister-in-law Kathy, and a whole plethora of loved ones who went before he did. Wendy Duggan, he missed you dearly.

Stand loved fully and unconditionally. He threw no shade and told the truth. A devoted family man with strong conservative values, Father of Julie (Zelman) and Alex (Renata). Always an active participant in the lives of his grandchildren Brennan, Kirsten (Simon), Kelsey, Kara (Brody), Damon, and Lily. Great Grandpa to Eliyanah and Cooper. Obviously, the favourite Uncle of Philip, Sharon, and Brian. Throughout his lifetime he accumulated quite a crew. People and relationships mattered. Silvia Hoffman should not go unmentioned. Toni Rose – her friendship meant the world to him.

Stanley dreamed of becoming a proficient artist and was quite talented indeed but life had other plans for him. He primarily worked (unless a chance to daydream, read, or sleep side-tracked him) in the Windsor Chrysler automotive plants for 30 lengthy years despite never missing the opportunity to evade a task and in doing so mastered the art of procrastination. This practical joker laughed easily and often. He was an avid reader and a fountain of interesting facts. Hoarding everything but his knowledge, money, and time.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating, scuba diving, and day tripping at the swamp. Partied like an actual rockstar and drank and award worthy amount of beer. He carried the bouquet of various smokes. Cheers to you Pa. you will not be forgotten. Rest well until we meet again.
