PEREIRA, Emanuel Barbosa Pereira

Passed away on October 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. He was the proud son of the late Maximino Pereira, whose memory he carried fondly throughout his life, and is lovingly survived by his devoted and caring mother, Ilda Pereira; his beloved siblings, Natalia and Mike; his devoted partner of 20 years, Grace Mendonça; and his cherished stepson, Hunter.

Manny was a truck driver, a former BMX racer, and a passionate collector. He was a fighter who gave it all he could—strong in spirit, generous to the core, and always ready to make people laugh. He cheered proudly for the Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leafs and Seattle Seahawks—and wherever there was a game, you’d find his arms in the air, grin full-tilt. Most of all, he treated every person he met as a friend he just hadn’t met yet.

A viewing will be held at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St N, Cambridge on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 6–8 p.m. A Mass will be held Wednesday November 5th, 2025, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 185 Elgin St S, Cambridge at 10 a.m., followed by his burial at Parklawn Cemetery, 750 Fountain St N, Preston, Ontario. For those wishing to honour Manny’s memory, flowers are welcome, or a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
