SALMON, Peter Chester Salmon

SALMON, Peter Chester   –  Passed unexpectedly at home, on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the age of 76.

Beloved husband of Jacqueline Florence Salmon; dear brother of Susanne, Paul, Stephen, Catherine and David; and proud uncle of Evan, Mark and Carrie.

Peter lived life to the fullest, becoming a pilot at a young age.

He enjoyed flying into mine camps up and down the country, always striving to better himself.

He later started his own company in 1994, where working with an associate in Arizona, Mr. Howard Portz, they developed a business importing metal castings.

In his social life he played a little golf in many local and international courses, developing his skill. He also was involved in local and national politics. Peter always tried to volunteer wherever he could, and no matter what the challenge, you could find Peter in the middle of it.

His detail-orientated way of thinking served him well in all he undertook.

Visitation at Smith’s Funeral Hhome, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
