PETRILLI, Diane Colasanti nee Petrilli

It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, and nonna after a hard-fought battle with liver disease. Diane was the loving and devoted wife to her husband Arduino Colasanti, who she was married to for 51 years. Cherished mother to Linda Guadagno (Michael), Davide, Melissa Sperduti (Ciro). Adored Nonna to Mila, Tavia, Cinzia, Diano, Della, Sandro and Gia. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Welcomed with loving hearts by her late cherished parents Tullio and Antonietta Petrilli who she missed tremendously. Loving sister to Mario Petrilli (Rachelle) and cherished Zizi to Erica. Loving daughter-in-law to the late Vincenzo and Giuseppina Colasanti, sister-in law-of the late Maria and Giovanni Colasanti, sister-in-law to Clementina Colasanti (Elio Ipirti), and Anna Colasanti. Treasured Zia to Pietro Ipirti (Manuela) and Laura Ipirti (Luciano). Prozia to Samuele and Elisa of Italy.

She will be remembered for her grace, generosity, and unwavering support of those she loved. Whether through her warm smile, thoughtful words, she made each person she encountered feel valued and cared for. In her free time she enjoyed traveling, attending live shows and concerts, reading novels, cooking, baking and spending time with friends. Her hobbies consisted of needle point and ceramics. She would often listen to country and Italian music and have monthly lunch outings with her dearest friends. Playing cards and game boards with her grandchildren were some of the many things she enjoyed very much. Diane looked forward to attending local banquets. She had a love for buying purses, shoes and hats. She was strong in her catholic faith and proud of her Italian heritage and roots. Although her time with us was far too short, Diane leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion and strength that will live on in the hearts of her family and all who loved her unconditionally. Special thank you to her lifelong friend, Ilde Mariani (Joe), for all her love and support, and caring for her during these difficult times. Your friendship was always treasured and held dear to her heart. We are forever grateful for all of the support and genuine love shown by all of her close friends, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Thank you to the staff of Tecumseh Extendicare and to the WRH (Metropolitan Campus) ER and ICU medical staff, especially Dr. Fiorini and nurses Ryan and Steven, for their exceptional care and compassion.
