Peacefully at Glen Hill Strathaven Long Term Care on Saturday January 3, 2026 at 85 years of age.

Loving mother of Erskine, Donel, Lincoln, Estella and Denise

Cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren

Dear sister of the late Phyllis, the late Emma, Elma, Gemma, the late Wilma, Stanley, Lima, Althea, Tony and Susan.

Verna will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends throughout Canada, Trinidad, and the United States.

She lived a colourful life filled with love, kindness and joy. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. Visitation will be held at the Courtice Funeral Chapel 1587 Highway #2, Courtice on Sunday January 11 from 11 a.m until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12 p.m.
