On Wednesday, November 26, 2025 the Lord called Bill VanWoudenberg home at the age of 82 years.
Beloved husband of Corrie (nee VandenHaak) for 57 years. Loved father of Gordon and Gelinda, Charlene and Gordon Tenhage, †Colin, William and Sheri, Andrew and Brenda, Cindy and Mark Beukema, and Trisha and Gus Hopman.
Loved Opa of Christina (Dale), Corissa (Ben), †Amber, †Emily, Justin (Brooke), Tim (Hayley), Loretta (Brady), Derek, Carrie (Bill), Robyn (Corey), Sara (Matt), Jessica (Ed), Tarissa (Luke), Kendra, Dyllan, Elaina, Shawn, Ian, Lauren, Kira, Amy, Charity (Jon), Denver, Thomas, Cedric, Sawyer, †Esperanza, Jude, Isabella, Luke.
Bill was predeceased by his brother Gerrit, and his brothers and sisters in-law Bill VanDelft, Peter Dieleman, Hans Buma, Ella VanWoudenberg, Jenny VanWoudenberg, Audrey VanWoudenberg, Piet and Truus Heemskerk, Bill and Christine Vandenhaak, Len and Ria Vandergriendt, Andy Vandenhaak, Louis and Gerrie Doekes, Konnie DeBoer, and Ernie Schulenberg, as well as his granddaughters Amber and Emily VanWoudenberg and Esperenza Hopman and his great-grand daughter Micah Bootsma.
Bill will be missed by his siblings and in-laws, Ann Buma, Jack, Piet (Mary), Ed (Ursula), George (Hilly), Leo Rozema, Gerda Vandenhaak, Ann Deboer, and Jane Schulenberg as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at SMITHVILLE CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 330 Station Street, Smithville where the Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11 a.m., Rev. John VanWoudenberg officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. Interment to take place prior to the memorial service at 10 a.m. at Lane’s Cemetery, St. Anns.
