PINNELL , David John Pinnell Jr.

Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025 at the age of 57 – doing what he loved, tending to his boat.
Above all, Dave cherished his family. He leaves behind his beloved spouse, Tanya Myatt, with whom he shared 11 beautiful years along with her sons Tait and Ty.

He will live on in the hearts of his loving mother Carol, dear sister Sherry MacDonald and daughter Nicole Chan. Lovingly remembered by his niece Stephanie (Nick) Dolan and their children Michael, Aengus and Macklan. His chosen family—dearest friends Jamie (Jessica) Cybulski and their son Jack, along with Mark (Jen) Pringle, and many others—will profoundly feel his absence. Predeceased by loving father David (2022).

Dave will be remembered for “The Longest Day of Golf,” his love of the water and working on his boat, along with his dedication to his hometown of Napanee, of which he was a Town Councilor. He definitely lived up to one of his infamous quotes: “You gotta make stories before you can tell them!”

Honoring Dave’s wishes, no service will be held. Aquamation has taken place in the care of Wartman Funeral Home. In memory of Dave, donations to Hospice Lennox & Addington or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
