Anna Giuditta Piotto entered into rest peacefully on June 6, 2025, at St. Andrew’s Terrace in Cambridge, Ontario. Born in Bassano del Grappa, Italy, to Agostino and Maria, Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband Mario Piotto in 2000.

A devoted mother, Anna leaves behind her children Monica Verin (Eros), Silla Piotto (Jacqueline), and Daniele Piotto, and her cherished grandchildren Amy Verin and Julia Verin (Jordan). Left to mourn in Italy are her sisters Clelia, Sylvia, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings Lydia, Carla, Silvio, and Ugo.

Family in Brockville include her sister-in-law Mirella Piotto and nephew Massimo Piotto. Anna was a talented dressmaker and seamstress who embraced both her professional independence and her role as a homemaker.

After immigrating to Brockville in 1963 with Mario, Anna retained her Italian elegance and traditions, whether watching Formula 1 or stepping out in heels and a silk scarf. Together, they built a meaningful life on Oxford Avenue among treasured neighbours and friends.

The Liturgy of Christian Funeral will take place at St. Francis Xavier Church, Brockville, on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at a later date. Memorial donations may be directed to St. Francis Xavier Church.
