PIVA, Barbara Piva (née Trudell)

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mom, grandmother, and special grandmother Barbara Piva on July 10, 2025, at the age of 91. Reunited with her late husband Angelo “Andy”.

Loved mother of Pauline Amlin (the late Paul “Ralph”) and Tammy Triolet (the late Gary). Dear grandma of Amanda (Jeff), Gary Andrew, Jonathan, Randy (fiancée Kristi), Nathan, and Shantel, and special grandma of Wyatt. Barbara will be greatly missed by her beloved dog Chips. She touched many lives and loved deeply – animals as well as people – and many will miss her presence in their lives.

If you wish, please make a donation for a Mass to be said in Barbara’s name at a church of your choice.

All are welcome to attend visitation at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, on Wednesday from 3–5 pm and 7–9 pm, and again on Thursday from 9:00–10:30 am, followed by a procession to Sacred Heart Church, 1425 Divine St., LaSalle, for a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11:30 am. Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery to follow.
