Simone (Simi) Plotkin (née Revin) challenged the odds of her diagnosis by over a year and died peacefully, surrounded by her family and attentive caregivers, on July 20, 2025, a couple months shy of her 80th birthday.

Beloved wife of David Plotkin, she cherished what life had to offer. She was a loving matriarch, balabusta and strong-willed working woman.

Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Janine (Gil) and Nicole (Gavin). Adored Bubbie of Anthony (Nikki), Stephen (Shyne), Adrian, Ashley (Robin), and Carly (Mike). Heartwarming Bubbie Bubbie of Harrison.

Loving sister to the late Erwin and Gilda Revin, the late Ferne (Faggie) and the late Milt Scher, Brian and Carol Revin, and Beverly Revin and Martin Gavin. Her love of family and friends will live on in others for generations.
