POLLARD, John Pollard

The Pollard family would like to share the news of the sudden passing of John G. Pollard. Known to many as JP, he leaves a legacy defined by his genuine and lighthearted nature, his quick laugh, and understated humour. He was well known around Uxbridge, particularly at the hockey arena.

His greatest legacy, however, was the boundless love and pride he had for his family, specifically his beloved wife, Ruth, and his children, Ray, 17, and Owen, 15. John is also survived by his mother, Barb; his sisters, Cathy, Sylvia, and Jo-Ellen; and his brothers-in-law, Ron, Paul, John, Richard, and Roy. John was a loving uncle who adored his many nieces and nephews: Nick, Ben, Sarah, Kelsey, Carly, Jake, Charlotte, Nathan, Devyn, Hayley, Andrew, Elizabeth, David, and Michael.

The family takes comfort in knowing John is reunited with his father, Jack Pollard, who passed in 2013.  John wasn’t here for a long time, but when you were with him, you could be certain it was a good time.
