POTH, Ida Mae –  Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on Thursday October 1, 2015.

Beloved wife of Kenneth Poth and the late Allan Hiehn.

Loving mother of Fran Dittenhoffer (Ted), Jacqueline Lichty (Clifton) and Darlene Gies (Dennis). Sadly missed by Valerie McEachern (Andy), Susan Poth and Andrew Poth (Charlene).

Proud grandma of Chris (Deanna), Blaine (Tara), Desiree, Trevor (Jennifer), Courtney (Justin), Michael (Sheri), Stephen, Kevin, Carl and great grandmother of 10. Dear sister of Eric Ostrander, Emily Bolzon, Edna Youngbludt (Jack), Dorothy Fulton (David) and Frances Bates (Tom). Survived by her daughter-in-law Deborah Hiehn.

Predeceased by her son Allan Michael Hiehn and her brothers and sisters; Linda Gordon, Sylvester Ostrander, Vernon Ostrander, Frank Ostrander and Eileen Ostrander.

Ida’s family will receive relatives and friends from 1-4 pm on Sunday October 4, 2015 and from 12-12:45 pm on Monday October 5, 2015 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, Ontario. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday at 1 pm.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
