PRICE, Eric Herbert Price

It’s with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Eric Herbert Price formerly of Beachburg, who passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Wednesday September 24, 2025 in his 94th year. He was known to all as Eric The Great, The Price Is Right and The Miracle Man! Born March 2, 1932 in Perretton Ontario. Beloved husband of Patricia (Johnson) for 56 years. Loving Dad of Erica (Michael John) Rice and Sonia (Tim) Hanatschek.  Loving Grandpa to McLean, Devin, Kinly, Regan and Masen. Son of the late Dalton and Martha Elizabeth (Elliott). Survived by sisters Enid (Nelson) Kruschenske and Ruth ( D.T.) Williams. Predeceased by brothers Vernon, Oren, Clayton, Bill, Fred, John, Gordon, Ralph and sister Eleanor Mathieu. Eric was a member of the Operators Union 793 for 56 years. He cherished time with family, and particularly sharing stories of his life with his grandchildren. He was known for his great sense of humour, enjoyment of telling jokes, playing cards, playing baseball along with his kind and mild nature.  Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris & Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, on Sunday September 28, 2025 from 1 – 1:30pm when the Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:30pm. Interment Beachburg Union Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy donation to The Dementia Society (Ottawa and Renfrew County) would be appreciated.  A reception will follow at the Beachburg Lions Club Hall.
