PRIDDLE , Deleen Adelma Phyllis Priddle

Peacefully while resting, Deleen Adelma Phyllis Priddle (Gruntman) (née Draht) passed away joining her predeceased loved ones in Heaven on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the age of 91. She was born April 10, 1934 in Esk, Saskatchewan. Deleen was a woman who, together with her husband Lloyd, raised their daughters in the Christian faith through Vineland Pentecostal Church and then Calvary Gospel Church in Beamsville.

Deleen and her husband, Lloyd Gruntman, shared many years of marriage until his passing in 2003. Later, she married a long-time family friend, Don Priddle, until his passing in 2015.

She enjoyed over 30 years working as a Switchboard Operator at Bell Canada. There she developed long and precious friendships with “the Bell Girls”, as she would refer to her closest friends there, Jackie McGregor, Olive Carr and Dolores Neff.

She is survived by her children Elaine Dick (husband Jim), Jo-Anne Taylor (husband Randy) and Judy Bennett (husband Greg). Deleen especially loved any time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Brad Dick, and his sons Dylan and Nolan; Michael and Courtney Dick; Tim and Arber Dick, and their children Cyrus, Ryker, Beckett and Finleigh; Shelly and Jarret Beauregard, and their children Tyler and Aliyah; Chris Taylor; Jeff Taylor and his son Carson; Shawn and Marivic Cavers and Michelle and Brad Miller. She is survived by one brother, Lyle Draht. Her predeceased brothers were Philip Draht and Calvin Draht.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th from 6:30-8:30 pm at Calvary Gospel Church, 4129 Hixon Street, Beamsville. Memorial service celebrating Deleen’s life will take place on Wednesday August 20th at Calvary Gospel Church, 4129 Hixon Street, Beamsville at 2:00 pm, followed with refreshments. All are welcome.
