PRIDMORE, Mary Jane Doig Pridmore

At the Cornwall Community Hospital on October 3, 2025, at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Graeme. Loved mother of Jacqueline (Stephen Moore), Erica (Rico Falcone), late Leslie-Anne (Mark Lauzon) and Reid (Sonya Dumais).

Proud Nanny of Vanessa and Daniel Falcone, Alexandra and Kale Lauzon, and Gus Doig. Born in Newmarket, Ontario to the late Norman and Cecelia Pridmore. Survived by sister and brother-in-law Lois and Fred Beiers of Kilworthy, Ontario, nephew Christopher Beiers (Amy) and family in Orillia, and Graeme’s family in South Africa.
Predeceased by brother Grey Pridmore (late Eunice), brothers-in-law Barry (Betty) Doig and Fergus Doig.

Remembered by many friends and neighbours, especially those at McConnell Manor in Cornwall where Mary lived for the past 10 years. Mary was previously a long time resident of R.R.#3 Ingleside and a teacher at the former Osnabruck District High School.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, on Thursday, October 9 from 4-8 p.m.

The family would like to thank staff on the 2nd floor of the Janet MacDonnell Pavilion (Surgery wing) for their compassionate care of our mother over the last weeks. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Run for the Cure, the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
