PROFETTO, Giuseppe Profetto

We announce the peaceful passing of Giuseppe at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, surrounded by his loving family in his 95th year on  August 28, 2025.

Giuseppe is survived by his loving and devoted wife Lina of 72 years.  Loving father of Ralph and Silvana, Joanne and Larry, Angelo and Lidia.

Proud nonno of Daniel & Sonia, Jason & Laura, Adam & Miranda, Sylvia & Jon, Ryan and Miri, James & Ashley, Julia & Angelo, Alessandra & Peter, Christina & Steve.

Adoring bisnonno of 18 great grandchildren.

He will also be sadly missed by extended family and friends in Canada and Italy.

The family extends their sincere thanks to all staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital. (wards 4D, CCU and Chest Clinic) for all the support, compassion and care of their cherished husband, papa, nonno and bisnonno.

Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Sunday, August 31, 2025, 1-6pm.

A Private Family Funeral Service and Entombment will take place. 

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
