PURDY, Susan Lee Purdy

As she would have desired, Susan passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, September 30th, in her 62nd year, just in time for Papa Roy’s Birthday. Predeceased by her Father, Charles Herbert Taylor and her Mother, Joan Taylor Clarke and Stepfather Roy Terence Clarke.

She was a devoted mother to Joshua (Megan), Kyle (Alyson), Kristyn (Jeff) and Nicholas. Loving momma (Nana) to Ashlyn, Camden and Evelyn. Cherished sister to Linda Patterson and Laurie Lockerbie (Brett).

Visitation will be held on October 14th, 2025, at St. Paul’s United Church, located at 178 Church St. Bowmanville from 1-2 pm and the Funeral Service to follow at 2pm. The family invites guests to join them at the Church for reception following Funeral Service. Private family burial will take place at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens in Glenburnie at a later date.

To fulfill Susan’s wishes, the family requests that donations be made the the St. Paul’s United Church Benevolent Fund, and flowers can be donated to St. Paul’s United Church.
