RAES, Remi Van Raes

Peacefully at Oneida Long Term Care, on Monday September 29, 2025, Remi Van Raes in his 98th year.  Beloved husband of the late Yvonne Van Raes (2019). Loved by his family – sons Roger (Eva), Dave (Anita), his grandchildren Krista (Shaun), Joe (deceased 2018), Caitlin (Shawn), Tanya (Pete), Scott (Katie), and his Great grandchildren, Jason, Carson, Payton, Iroh, Winry and Kyo.  He will be missed by his brother Daniel (Pauline) Van Raes. Predeceased by his parents Marcel and Zulma Van Raes, and his brothers Reno and Chris.

All are welcome to join the family for visitation at Arn Funeral Home Rodney on Monday October 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be held at St Mary’s Church 128 Main St, West Lorne at 1:00 p.m.  Interment in St Mary’s Cemetery immediately following the service.
