GROSSI, Raffaela  –

October 10, 1934 – August 5, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Raffaela Grossi announces her passing, on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at the age of 88, surrounded by her loving children and daughters-in-law, following a lengthy battle with dementia.

She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her five children: Francesco, Gabriel (wife Josie), Bruno (wife Marianne), Antoinette, and Enzo; grandchildren: Emilio (wife Maitre), Gabriel (wife Alicia), Filomena (husband David), Julian, Angelica, Jacqueline, and Oliver; and great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Charlotte, Siena, and Amelia.

Reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, Benedetto; loving parents, Antonio and Maria Luigia; and brothers, Ugo (deceased wife Filomena), Raniero, Aurelio, and Angelo.

She will be remembered by her brother, Domenico (wife Elba); and loving sister, Francesca DelDuca (deceased husband Franceso); along with many family members and friends. A huge gratitude to her caregivers, Agnes Cortez, and Lisa Toquero, for their endless love and support.

Thanks to the nurses at Villa Colombo Nursing Home. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, a donation made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.

Visitation will be held at the Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St.), on Thursday, August 10th, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave., at Dufferin St.), on Friday, August 11th, at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow  .
