LISI, Raffaele –

May 15, 1939 – July 20, 2023

God called Raffaele Lisi peacefully, on July 20, 2023, at the age of 84, surrounded by his family. Cherished by his sons, Adriano (Sandra), and Riccardo (Cinzia).

Proud “Nonno” to Nadia, Marco, Andrew and Maria.

Beloved by his partner, Ida. He is reunited with his loving wife, Maria Pia, in Heaven.

He will be dearly missed by his sister, Filomena and brother-in-law, Frank (Maria), nephews, nieces; and friends. Raffaele immigrated to Canada in 1963, worked hard and created a thriving business. He was a passionate outdoorsman who loved hunting and hobby farming.

He made the best homemade wine and loved a good meal with family and friends. Always smiling and ready to help out whenever called upon.

His love and devotion to his family and friends will forever be cherished and held in our hearts. Visitation will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel, 8101 Weston Rd., on Monday, July 24th, from 3-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 25th, at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., Woodbridge, ON) with private entombment to follow.
