RAJSIC, Michael Jean Rajsic

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Michael Jean Rajsic, on December 2, 2025, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of the late Carol Ruth Ann Rajsic  “Tink” (2015).

Michael will be sadly missed and always remembered by his many extended family; Aunt Alma & Aunt Donna, nephews and countless cousins. Predeceased by his mother Inez Rajsic.

Michael was a man of remarkable depth and curiosity, whose love for history and deep knowledge made him a trusted source for friends and family alike. A lifelong member of this community, he carried its stories in his heart and shared them generously. His passion for travel took him across many countries, yet his roots remained firmly planted here. Michael’s expertise in plants, trees, and flowers—honed through his work at Downham Nurseries—was matched only by his extraordinary memory and his love of books, reflected in the library he built at home. Music was his world, and his pipe was his quiet companion, both symbols of a life well-lived and deeply enjoyed. Known for his warmth, humor, and zest for life, Michael will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitations will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 11a.m. until 12 noon, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A reception will take place before the interment at Bethel Cemetery, Warwick. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Strathroy Community Hospice.
