RAMOS, Austin Ramos

It is with profound heartbreak that we announce the passing of Austin Ramos, a deeply loved 26-year-old man whose life, though far too short, was filled with love, loyalty, and meaning beyond measure. Austin was a devoted partner to Abby Allardyce, and the proud, loving father of his son Knox, who was the center of his world. He shared his life with his beloved animals β€” Daisy and Max, his dogs, and Otis, his cat β€” who brought him endless joy and companionship. He was a cherished brother to Faith Vince, Miguel Ramos, Jake Vince, and Aaliyah Nguyen, and a loving uncle to Ellie Vince, Baby Vince #2, Briar Nguyen-Ramos, and even to Abby Vince, his dog niece. Family meant everything to Austin, and he showed that love not just in words, but in presence, protection, and unwavering support. Austin was the beloved son of Mike Ramos and Tammy Carson, and a treasured grandson to Patricia Cleeve (Nana). He was also deeply loved by his extended family, including Tracy Ramos, whose children Faye and Grayson Ramos held a special place in his heart, and Cliff Hebblewaite and Sarah. He is reunited in peace with those who passed before him: Maria and Amorin Mendonca (great-grandparents), Celeste and Jose Ramos (grandparents), and Pete Cleeve (grandfather). A hardworking and dedicated heavy machine operator at Ron Murphy Contracting, Austin took immense pride in his work and was always willing to lend a hand β€” whether on the job, at home, or for anyone who needed help. He had a deep love for the gym, never went anywhere without his water jug, and was famously loyal to his beef and rice. He was always tinkering with his truck, looking for the next upgrade, and took surprising pride in his carefully curated spice cabinet. Above all else, Austin loved spending time with his son, his dogs, and his family. He was known for his big heart, generosity, humor, and his instinct to show up β€” no matter the time, no matter the task. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but Austin’s love, lessons, and laughter will live on through everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Austin’s honor to the Sarnia Humane Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association, causes that reflect his compassion and care for others (cheques only at the funeral home please). Austin Ramos will be forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
