RANKIN, Ruth Rankin

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth on Sunday, November 30th, 2025 at Glen Stor Dun Lodge in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Bill Rankin.
Dear mother of Debra Grignon (Alain) and Shelley MacRae (Murray). Proud grandmother of Sarah (Patrick), Rebecca (Luke), Ashley, Shannon (Jacques), Courtney (Scott) and great-grandmother of 9.

Ruth was predeceased by her parents Percy and Estella Johnston (née Daye) and her brother Douglas Johnston and sister Mary Lynn Alguire.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 1 till 3 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 3 pm. Memorial Donations may be made in Ruth’s name to the Canadian Alzheimer Society
