RASO, John Michael Raso

Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on Friday, September 12, 2025. John was predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Mary and by his brother, Jerry. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Julieta, nieces and nephews and his extended family.

John loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting and was the proud owner of J.R. The Outdoor Store on King Street in Welland until his retirement in 2014.

The family will receive their friends at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Saturday, September 20th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A service will be held in the Cudney Chapel on Sunday, September 21st at 11am, with interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
