REESOR, Shawn Russell Reesor

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Russell “Shawn” Reesor, 50, of Oshawa, on February 2nd, 2026. Shawn was a son, father, brother, uncle and friend to so many.  Shawn’s two daughters, Madison and Rayne Reesor held a very special place in his heart, often his reason for being. He leaves behind his devoted and loving parents, Joan Timbers, David Reesor and Valerie Cameron. He will be deeply missed by his older sister, Rebecca Reesor-Montanaro, and his nieces and nephew: Kennedy, Graceson, and Kaine Montanaro. The love our family had for him never waivered and we know his love for us was true.  Shawn will be remembered for his quick witted humour, contagious-epic laugh, longstanding loyalty, and notorious style…no one ever looked as good in a Hugo Boss Leisure suit!  He was generous and kind with his love, and kept those he cared for close, including his tight group of friends that stood by him always.  His family and friends will keep him alive through their laughs, stories, and memories. He will forever be in our hearts. A private celebration of life will be held this spring for family and close friends.
