REGAN, June Freda Regan
January 23, 1932 - March 2, 2026
It is with profound love and sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished mum, June Freda Regan who left us peacefully on Monday, March 2nd, at the age of 94.
She was a devoted mother and wife, predeceased by her husband, William and her cherished daughter, Donna. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Patricia Harber, Susan Regan-Kenney, Lorie (Dave) Bos, Joanne (Doug) Scott, Larry (Joanne) Regan, and Kelly (Rob) Gibbs.
She was the heart of our family. From her grew a legacy of 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren — each one blessed by her boundless love, strength, and gentle guidance. While our family tree is large, her true legacy lies in the faith, resilience, creativity, and kindness she instilled in all of us.
She was a woman of deep and unwavering faith. As a devoted Catholic, her love for the Blessed Mother Mary was at the center of her spiritual life. She was an active member of the CWL (Catholic Women’s League) for more than 40 years. Her faith shaped her character and guided the way she loved and served others — with humility, generosity, and grace.
Mum was vibrant, funny, and wonderfully full of life. She embraced every celebration with enthusiasm, dressing up for Halloween, Easter, and St. Patrick’s Day with joyful spirit. Even into her eighties, she welcomed the first snowfall by bundling up to build a snowman — a testament to her playful heart. She sang with the Kerr Street Singers in Oakville until the age of 87, sharing her love of music and community. Her laughter filled rooms, her hugs healed hearts, and her presence brought comfort and happiness to all who knew her.
Gifted with remarkable creativity, she made magic from very little. She sewed clothing for her children, crafted dance and Halloween costumes by hand, and created a childhood rich in love and imagination. For over 50 years, she designed beautiful, one-of-a-kind floral arrangements for craft shows, and she even mastered the art of paper tolling.
Though we mourn her passing, we celebrate a life beautifully lived. Her spirit will continue to guide us always. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Post Inn Village Long Term Care Home for their exceptional care, kindness, and support.
