It is with great sadness that the family of Kathaleen (Kathy) Rehm announces her passing following a lengthy illness.
Kathy was the proud and loving mother of John (Tami) Rehm and Mary Jo (John) Stolk. Affectionately known as Grandma Kaki to Navaline (Adam) Penney, Terri (Kevin) Becker, and fur babies Eddy and Jorge (2023). Great Grandma Kaki to Clayton, Liam, and Pyper.
She was a much-loved aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews, and found joy in the company of dear friends and neighbours whose friendship meant the world to her.
Born on Mother’s Day, May 14, 1944, to the late Leonard Haidon Sr. and Joy Haidon, Kathy often joked she spoiled the doctor’s luncheon. She was the eldest of five siblings: JoAnne Stirling, Bridget Haidon, William Haidon, and Leonard Haidon, all predeceased.
Kathy married Thomas Rehm on July 14, 1962, and they shared life together until his passing in 1979. Despite many losses and challenges, she was resilient and full of warmth, joy, and generosity.
