REID, Ewan Reid

A resident of Chatham, Ewan Reid passed peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 75.

He was the son of the late John & Catherine (nee Piggot) Reid.

Loved Companion of Gurjit Cherra.

Dear father of Aaron Reid.

Grandfather of Christopher & Odin.

Brother of Donna Daniels (Wayne). Predeceased by his brothers, John Reid, Angus Reid and sister, Margaret Reid.

He will be missed by his family members and by his furry friends, Sammy, Ernie & Bailey.

Ewan worked for the Southwest Regional Centre for many years. He enjoyed spending time with all of his furry friends.

As per Ewan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family to receive friends on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 10:00 am until a Memorial Service at 11:00 am.

In memory of Ewan, donations may be made to the Pet and Wildlife Rescue.
