REIDEL , Judith Beverly Reidel

It is with great love and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Beverly Reidel, who left us peacefully on August 16, 2025, at the age of 74. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Judith was a radiant soul who brightened the lives of everyone she met with her kindness, humour, creativity, and unwavering love.

Born on December 25, 1950, to Carl and Mildred Barber, Judith’s life was a true reflection of her values, family, community, and joy. She devoted her time and boundless energy to those she loved, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and resilience.

Judith is survived by her children, Jana Reidel Creutz and Judson Kyle Reidel (with his wife, Heather Reidel); her treasured grandchildren, Lou, Sam, Ramona, and Magnus; her sister Carol Thompson and her husband Ray, brother-in-law Paul and his wife Linda, brother-in-law Terry and his wife Ronda and her many cherished friends. She enjoyed so much watching her many nieces and nephews build their lives; Rhonda, Geoff, Dana, Jamie, Geoffrey, Daren, Jason and Carey. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Murray “Moe” Joseph Reidel, and her beloved daughter, Kyla Brittney Reidel.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, as well as Monday August 25, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The Memorial Service to celebrate Judith’s remarkable life will begin in the funeral home’s chapel at 11:00 a.m. A Reception will follow.

Condolences for the family and donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, SickKids Foundation, or Make-A-Wish Canada may be arranged through www.erbgood.com.

Though Judith is no longer with us in body, her spirit, laughter, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who were privileged to know her. She always displayed great strength in the face of adversity, all without losing her compelling sense of humor, right to the very end.

“Moe, get ready! Here I come and I’m loaded with questions, stories & jokes!”

Memories and notes of condolence may be shared at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home.
