RELF, Yvonne Marie Vink Relf

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Yvonne Marie Relf on December 18, 2025, at The Ottawa Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Yvonne was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was truly one of a kind, facing her medical challenges with immense strength, positivity, and courage.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Barry Relf; her mother, Lena (Gawryluk) Venance; and her children, Natalie (David Small), Danielle, and Benjamin. She was a cherished « Gramma » to Logan and Russell. Yvonne is survived by her siblings, Shannon (Maura Purdon), Michelle (the late James Fullard), Katherine (Michael Hamilton), Maureen, and David (Michelle Exner), as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be terribly missed by her fur babies, Lucy and George. Yvonne was predeceased by her father, Lorence Venance, in 2022.
Our heartfelt thanks go to The Ottawa Hospital Oncology team and a special thank you to the MAID team for ensuring Yvonne’s final wishes were carried out with such care and dignity.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Yvonne’s honor may be made to T he Ottawa Hospital Foundation
