RENAULD, Glenyce Renauld
October 2, 1935 - March 1, 2026It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glenyce, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, whose vibrant spirit touched everyone who knew her. Born in Renfrew, Ontario, Glenyce was pre-deceased by her loving parents, Clephir and Bertram Vincent, and siblings Marjorie Lindsay (Earl), Yvonne Grice (Vic) and Kenneth Vincent (Ann).
Glenyce was the proud and devoted mother of four children: Judy Anderson (Danny), Mark Grantham Jr (Andrea), Debbie Grantham (Dino), and Michael Grantham (David). She was an incredibly proud “Nanny Zizi” to her nine grandchildren; Sarah, Nicola (Frankie), Dylan, Emily (Tom), Jennifer (Dan), Zachary (Gabrielle), Adam (Kiersten), Kristofer (Anna), and Kayla and her six great-grandchildren; Sam, Thomas, Carson, Amelia, Chloé, and Jack. Her family was her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment.
Glenyce was married to her beloved husband, Charles Renauld, for 40 wonderful years. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Upon retirement, they spent many happy years in Florida enjoying an active and social lifestyle. Whether at home or at gatherings, Glenyce and Charlie were often admired for the joy they brought to the dance floor.
Lively, energetic, and full of personality, Glenyce brought light and laughter wherever she went. She loved playing games—especially cards—at the family cottage in Castleford, where countless cherished memories were made. She had many careers over the years, most recently working at Walmart in Renfrew, where she greeted everyone with a warm smile and formed many lasting friendships.
Glenyce was known for her colorful wardrobe, vibrant style, and her signature bright red lipstick—she never went without it. She adored her home and many friends at Quail Creek and enthusiastically participated in their activities.
Her family would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Renfrew Victoria Hospital for their compassion and care, for ensuring her comfort, and for bringing a smile to her face each day.
Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St., S. Renfrew on Friday March 6th from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm.
