RENTON, Ivan Allen Renton

Son of Ona (Manderson) and Alpheus. Ivan was a proud graduate of the UNB Civil Engineering class of ’62.
After graduation he moved to Ontario to work, first for Domtar and then Ontario Hydro, now OPG.
He greatly enjoyed his work with Hydro and the colleagues and friends he met.
Ivan was a man of many interests- wine-making, baseball, jazz, military history, fishing and woodworking.
A complex man, Ivan would ask a simple question or complicated one. Both were important to him.
Married for 63 years to Joan with two daughters, Alison (John) and Leigh. Proud grandfather to Claire and Fiona.

We will continue to try to answer Ivan’s favourite question, “What is Art”?
