DAVEY, Rhoda (Trotter) Davey Obituary

DAVEY, Rhoda (nee Trotter) – Passed away at Riverview Manor, Peterborough on Thursday December 31, 2015.  Rhoda (Trotter) of Lakefield in her 76th year.

Beloved wife of 50 years to Fred Davey.  Cherished Mom of Greg (Cindy) of Warsaw, Tracey Brooks (Rick) of Port Hope, Gord (Linda) of Hamilton and Troy (Amelia) of Kingston.

Grandma will always be loved and remembered by Dillon (Shannan), Andy, Kyle (Stephanie), Sarah (John), Cory (Amy), Brooke, Emma, Claire, Austen, Tyson and Evalyn and by her great grandchildren Ariel, Sheldyn, Lily and Ella.

Also remembered by her sister Goldie Wilson (Max). Predeceased by her sister Winnifred Ayotte (Gerald) and brother Harold Trotter (Betty).

Relatives and friends are invited to call at The Hendren funeral homes, Lakefield chapel on Wednesday, January 6th from 6:00 – 9:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held there on Thursday, January 7th at 1:00 PM.  Interment.  A reception will follow.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to SickKid’s Hospital or the Lakefield Jr. “C” Hockey Club. 

The family would also like to give special thanks to the nursing staff at Riverview Manor, Peterborough.  They are a great, caring staff that needs to be recognized everyday for the hard work they do and the compassion they have.
